ImmuPharma (IMM) – Lupuzor completed First Stage of Long Term Study

ImmuPharma reports that its Lupuzor treatment for Lupus has completed the first leg of its mandatory long term toxicology study. The first study was positive, showing no clinical or laboratory findings to suggest any safety issues, while an interim analysis of the second study for Lupuzor supported these conclusions, the company said.

International regulations require two long term toxicology studies of six and nine months for drugs that are to be used long term. The studies were required by the Food and Drug Administration before ImmuPharma’s Phase III programme could proceed.
