RENEWAL OF TENEMENTS FOR BOSETO COPPER PROJECT IN NORTH WEST BOTSWANA

HIGHLIGHTS
• Seven prospecting licenses originally granted in 2005 renewed for a further two years reinforcing Discovery Metals’ position as largest land holder in the Kalahari Copper Belt
• All areas applied for by Discovery Metals accepted and granted
• Boseto Copper Project retains the 1,300 strike kilometres of prospective mineralisation, with the total project area now more than 10,100 square kilometres
• Boseto bankable feasibility study on track for completion in mid-2009

Discovery Metals Managing Director, Brad Sampson said “We are appreciative that the Government of Botswana has recognised the remarkable work achieved by Discovery Metals in outlining substantial copper resources of 50.4M tonnes at 1.3% Cu and 17.6g/t Ag* and commencing a Bankable Feasibility Study in less than three years.  The Government of Botswana has shown its support for the continued development of the tenements by granting our application.”
