Cove Energy Plc Appraisal Drilling concludes
Cove Energy plc, the AIM quoted upstream oil and gas company, together with the operator Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, is delighted to provide an update of the results of the Barquentine-4 appraisal well located approximately 30 kilometres north of the Lagosta discovery well at the southern end of the Windjammer/Lagosta/Barquentine/Camarao gas complex in the Rovuma Basin Area 1 block, Offshore Mozambique.

John Craven CEO of Cove commented; “The appraisal drilling programme has concluded with another success at Barquentine-4 which is an important delineation of the northern part of the Prosperidade gas area. We have now bookended over 30 kms of proven gas fairway between Barquentine-4 in the north and Lagosta to the south.
